Chicken noodle soup inspired by the Gulf States of the Arabian Peninsula served with hot mint tea. I used spices and herbs commonly used in that region. So today I added cardamom and turmeric into my soup, and it turned out delicious.

Oman Air they not only have excellent service, but their food is on a gourmet level. This onboard meal was absolutely delicious. This was the “Kabsa” that is a rice dish that is enjoyed throughout the Gulf States of the Arabian Peninsula. The rice has turmeric and cardamom as the main spices that’s slow cooked in chicken broth. The generous portion of chicken under the rice is also cooked with the same spices, but in a more generous amount. The next time you travel with Oman Air, you can hopefully enjoy this fantastic dish.

Here’s the entrance Aerotel Airport Transit Hotel and a photo of one of their rooms. Fun Facts: It is one of the worlds safest hotel. Why you may ask? Only after going through a security checkpoint and a passport checkpoint can you enter this hotel. It’s located on the fifth floor in the departure area, inside the airport of Muscat, Oman. If you want to stay at this hotel, you need to have all your documents and visa status in order. #
