From Inspiration to a One-of-a-Kind Painting

My client sent me an inspiration photo that she had purchased online as a printed artwork. She loved the concept so much that she wanted to have it transformed into a real, hand-painted piece—and then she gave me the freedom to make it my own. She simply said, “Ako na daw bahala.”

With that trust, I created my own interpretation of Lady Justice, keeping the essence of the inspiration while adding my own artistic style and details. I chose to incorporate blue flowers as a symbol of femininity, grace, and strength—soft yet powerful, just like the woman represented in the painting. 💙

What made this commission even more special was hearing that my client was very happy with the finished piece. 🥹

This piece began with an inspiration sent by my client—a beautiful scene of Jesus with three fishermen. From that inspiration, I created a simple sketch and sent it to the client for approval before bringing it to life on canvas.
While painting, I felt that Jesus needed a subtle halo, a quiet reminder of who He is—not only a companion to the fishermen, but the One who leads them. 🤍 I’m so grateful that my client loved the idea, agreed with the little change, and was truly happy with the finished piece.
What makes this commission even more special is that, after seeing the final artwork, the client decided to commission another piece from me. 🥹🎨
