On this day, July 25, 2024, in Project Barako history—We received our first national award as a youth-led organization! We are incredibly honored to be named the Most Promising Youth Organization in the Philippines at the 7th Villar SIPAG Youth Poverty Reduction Challenge.

Using our signature coffee-painting medium, we have shown that art can be a vehicle for environmental awareness, poverty alleviation, and youth empowerment.

Huge thanks to the Villar Foundation for recognizing our vision, and to everyone who has supported our journey from Ibaan, Batangas, to the national stage.
