In the province of Batangas, only an hour and a half away from Manila, a children's museum is coming to life.

The Tumba-Tumba Children's Museum of Philippine Art will be the culmination of a twenty-year dream: to build a place of wonder and curiosity, where children are free to be themselves, surrounded by trees, and art, and stories.

A major initiative of the Center for Art, New Ventures, and Sustainable Development (CANVAS), the Museum will showcase and promote child-friendly Philippine art as a medium to encourage and instill in children a love for books and reading, and to encourage discussion and reflection on the key issues of our times.

It is the home of the If Trees Could Talk International Art Biennale, and since 2024, Tumba-Tumba has welcomed guests from all over the world and across all ages, for art workshops, performances, film screenings, and even just for a simple afternoon outdoors. 🌿🌸🎨

Visit tumbatumba.ph to learn more about how you can help — and join us for our block screening of Forgotten Island on Saturday, September 26. Proceeds will support the development of the Museum.

Reserve your tickets now at bit.ly/CANVASForgottenIsland or tap the link in bio. 🍿 We'll see you there!
