Drop by Galerie Raphael Davao this week for our exhibit “The Scenic Route” a show featuring artists Art Lozano and Joeff Jamalul.
Arthur “Art” Lozano, a painter from Ilocos, is described as a “quiet environmentalist” who develops his talent to convey a message. He hopes that his paintings will inspire people to act and take responsibility in preserving Mother Nature.
Joeff Jamalul is a contemporary artist from Zamboanga city, his art is grounded in personal memory, cultural identity and lived experience. His distinct visual language merges surrealism, symbolism, and social commentary, offering deeply introspective yet universally resonant narratives.
The Scenic Route is collaboratively presented with Wee Community Developers, Inc. a real estate firm that has spent more than fifteen years reshaping communities across Metro Manila, for this collaboration Wee Community Developers looks towards Davao, introducing Destine Davao as one of its newest to the city and a continuation of its pursuit of spaces built with intention.
