This afternoon the Cadillac club visited the Healey museum during the Grand European 2026 meeting.

On display in the museum.
This Kodak vest Pocket Autographic Camera belonged to Donald Mitchel Healey.
It is called an Autographic, because it has the facility to wrote a note on the film trough a small window with a small metal pin that pulls out to writhe on the film.
The serial number of Donalds camera is 619857, which would date it to around 1916.

Yesterday, two models were added to the museum collection.

One ready-build model and one in its original packaging.

A 100/6 Auburn ROBOT Sportster made entirely of plastic with a battery-powered motor.
Made by Auburn Rubber Company, inc. Domino, New Mexico.

I am curious about the comments on this Healey. A few people must recognize it.

UPDATE.
Aug 18th. Following various comments pointing in the right direction, the clarification is below.
It is a 4000 RR build by a few friends in the 80's
Keith Clapham wrote down the facts about this car.

I Keith Clapham certainly recognise it, as I was instrumental in its concept and construction.

In the early 1980s, Keith Boyer and I began an ambitious project to build a fourth Austin-Healey 4000R. From the outset, we sought and received advice and encouragement from Geoffrey and Donald Healey.

After several months, I acquired Keith Boyer’s interest in the project and continued the build. The partly completed 4000R was later displayed on the Healey stand at the NEC Classic Car Show. ( your photo on Facebook, I'm seated wearing the Leather Jacket )

Due to the pressure of other projects, it was acquired by Richard Vaughan of Classic Consultancy, who brought the project to completion by adding the Hood and changing the Drivers and Passenger seats from Jaguar to Healey. I believe Richard later traded it to a Dealer in Holland for another Healey. (the dealer was Robelcocar)

The car is based on an original Austin-Healey 100-6 chassis dating from March 1958. Following the method used for the original 4000Rs, the chassis was divided and widened by six inches. The front and rear shrouds, front valance, bonnet and boot lid were then modified or remade to suit the wider profile.

The front wings, rear wings and doors were fitted in the style of the Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III. Numerous other components were adapted from big Healey parts. Some had a six-inch section inserted, while others were divided and widened by three inches on each side. A number of parts were made individually by hand.

The completed car has triple carburettors and a manual Jaguar gearbox with overdrive. It represents a further development of the three earlier 4000Rs and incorporates ideas and solutions suggested by Geoffrey and Donald Healey.

These days the car lives in Belgium and according to the latest reports, for sale.

Going true the Museum Archive I found these Pictures from Nash Healeys at different events.

The same door to knock on as in the previous post with the Nash Healey. Now with the prototype of the Healey 100.

Note the bumper supports that run from the chassis and not through the shroud. The front shroud also curves further downwards. This is the prototype with the low headlights. These did not meet the minimum height, and as a result, the headlight was placed higher.

One golden K&R Healey 100 as new!

Austin Healey 3000 No. 1 Mechanical Sports car. New in original box with both keys and description, made in Japan.

Two Austin Healey Coupe models for sale.

OAC 1 is hand built model commissioned in a limited edition by David Matthews.
ONX113 build by Spark and sold out years ago we now have one of each model in the museum shop for sale.
