W***y de Sauter at Galerie Ramakers. Till May 24

Since the 1960s, De Sauter has developed a highly reduced visual language centred on rhythm, repetition, and silence. His recent monochrome chalk works reveal subtle textures, traces, and variations in white that slowly emerge through attentive viewing.

The exhibition invites a quiet and contemplative experience, where material, light, and space come together in their purest form.

RIP OSSIP 🖤

It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to Ossip, an artist with whom I had the privilege of working for 27 years.
Ossip lived and worked in a world entirely his own — layered, unconventional, and at times not always easy to understand. His studio and his work formed a unique universe filled with memories, images, and stories. It was precisely this singular vision that made him such a remarkable artist and person.

Over the years, I came to know him as someone who remained uncompromisingly faithful to his artistic vision. That sometimes made our collaboration challenging, but always meaningful and deeply worthwhile. His work and presence have left a lasting impression on me.

We will miss Ossip greatly.

Our thoughts are with his wife, Petri, and his son, Tomas. We wish them strength and comfort during this difficult time.
