Estafette #5 is here! The fifth chapter of Estafette kicks off with Pris Roos and Eric Magassa.

From 22 October until their exhibition opens, the duo will be transforming our exhibition rooms into open studios, open to the public. During their two-week residency, Pris and Eric will create, collaborate, and draw inspiration from their surroundings—engaging in conversation, exploration, and shared research. Together, they’ll build toward an exciting new exhibition that reflects both their perspectives.

A tiny train with a personal story.

This work by MOSES & TAPS comes from Jasper van Es’ personal collection. In 2017, Jasper presented at MU. During the opening, his friend Klim brought a few model trains that were bought at a flea market and secretly asked some of the artists to draw on them. One of those trains ended up with MOSES & TAPS.

For Jasper, it’s not just a work by two iconic names from the graffiti scene. It’s a small, personal reminder of a particular exhibition, a friendship, and a moment from 2017.

That’s what makes the works in INHABIT #1 interesting: the stories that stay attached to them long after they leave the gallery.
