Flag Day feels a little extra special this year.

As someone with European roots who is now proud to call America home, I never take for granted the opportunities, friendships, and experiences this country has given me. Through Amstel Gallery I celebrate creativity. Through my own journey, I celebrate the freedom to build, create, and dream.

Today, we honor the flag that represents a nation built by people from all walks of life, each adding their own story to the American one.
