What if letting go could lead to something unexpected?

Tess Heijnis • Intuitive Abstract Art is an Amsterdam-based abstract artist whose work is guided by intuition, emotion, and the freedom to explore. Rather than following a fixed style or outcome, her practice allows space for play, spontaneity, perfectionism, and even frustration, each becoming part of the creative process 🙌🏼

Working primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, Tess creates expressive abstract compositions that emerge organically. Her paintings are a reflection of movement, feeling, and transformation, inviting the viewer to find their own meaning within the layers, colours, and forms. By embracing the unexpected, her work captures the beauty of a process that is constantly evolving 👀

What if slowing down could change the way we see?

Marieje van Buuren | Art is a Dutch artist working with colour, texture, and material. Her practice moves between handwoven wall pieces and abstract works on paper, exploring rhythm, repetition, movement, and the relationship between form and space 🙌🏼

Using wool, cotton, and other tactile materials, she creates circular and organic compositions through an intuitive process of weaving and layering. Her works invite you to look closely: to notice subtle shifts in colour, texture, and pattern, and to experience the quiet rhythm that emerges through repetition. Alongside her woven works, her abstract watercolours explore similar forms and structures, translating them into fluid compositions on paper 👀
