This magnificent ladies’ table was executed in the manner of the renowned master, Adam Weisweiler, one of the most distinguished cabinet makers of the Louis XVI period, whose works adorned the palaces and aristocratic residences of Europe.

The principal decoration of the piece is formed by rare porcelain panels, executed in the traditions of the Royal Severer Manufactory, gallant scenes, pastoral subjects, and exceptionally delicate polychrome painting
transport us into the refined world of 18th century France, a world of elegant salons, music, and courtly culture.

Guilt bronze, fine mahogany, and impeccable
proportions create a sense of lightness and
elegance, characteristic of the finest examples of French furniture art. Objects of this kind adorned serving as symbols of high status, refined taste, and belonging to the world of European culture.

Today, this table remains a vivid embodiment of the luxury of the Napoleon III era and of the French art of living beautifully.

A unique gold pocket watch from the early 20th century, crafted by ‘Pavel Bure’ - a supplier to the Russian Imperial Court.

The minute repeater, chronograph, moon phase display and calendar, all featuring Cyrillic markings, demonstrate the exceptional level of horological artistry of its time.

The rose gold case is adorned with a delicate guilloché pattern and an enamelled double-headed eagle - the symbol of the Russian Empire.

A rare masterpiece of horological art, embodying the technical perfection and splendour of the imperial era.

A masterpiece of 18th-century jewellery art - a rare double-lidded snuffbox, carved from a single piece of natural agate and set in an 18-carat gold frame.

Its unusual design depicts a mythological scene featuring Venus and Adonis - a story of love, separation and rebirth.

The gold reliefs depicting the figures of the heroes and Cupids are framed by exquisite rocaille ornamentation, whilst the sparkle of the diamonds emphasises the natural depth of the agate.

A rare work from the Rococo era, in which gemstones, gold and mythology are united into a single artistic vision.

A unique crystal jardinière crafted at the Imperial Glassworks in St Petersburg in the early 20th century.

Working from a design by the artist Pyotr Krasnovsky, glass cutter Grigory Omrokov executed an intricate composition in deep-cut crystal, uniting imperial symbolism with Renaissance foliate ornament.

The base bears the monogram of Emperor Nicholas II and the date “1912”.

A rare testament to Russian imperial art, preserving in crystal the spirit of its age.

This August, Maison ANTIQON continues its exploration of the exceptional works presented in Masterpieces of the Imperial Courts of Europe.

Our focus turns to five selected works. Each carries its own story - of exceptional craftsmanship, provenance and the era in which it was created.
