✨GOLD IS GOD✨

The fourth and last artwork in the Gold is God project is Golden Pietà.

A grieving mother cradles her fragile son in a marble flame, inspired by Northern European Protestant art. This Pietà reflects Michelangelo’s vision of faith in crisis, caught between despair and hope, illuminated by the eternal light of gold.

Michele Dal Bon invites you to discover his collection, Gold is God, at the Le Zoie Gallery, San Polo 2176, Venice.

The exhibition will run from December 14, 2024, to March 27, 2025, and will be open from Wednesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

✨GOLD IS GOD✨

The third artwork in the “Gold is God” project is The Thinker.

Rodin, inspired by Michelangelo, created The Thinker in 1880 as part of his Gates of Hell, based on Dante’s Divine Comedy. Initially depicting Dante, the figure evolved into a symbol of modern man contemplating his destiny.

Rodin explained that the figure thinks not only with the mind but with every muscle in his body, highlighting the physical intensity of deep reflection.

Michele Dal Bon invites you to discover his collection, Gold is God, at the Le Zoie Gallery, San Polo 2176, Venice.

✨GOLD IS GOD✨

The second artwork in the "Gold is God" project is Nike – νίκη.

The Nike of Samothrace is one of the greatest sculptural masterpieces of the Hellenistic period, attributed to Pythokritos. The goddess, missing her head and arms, is depicted in the act of soaring from the prow of a ship, symbolizing the naval triumph it commemorates.

✨GOLD IS GOD✨

La prima opera del progetto “Gold is God” che vi presentiamo è Golden Philia.

Φιλία, in greco, significa amicizia, ma racchiude un sentimento molto più profondo. Philia rappresenta il vero amore, quello disinteressato, che va oltre la passione dell’eros. È l’amore eterno, quello che rimane per sempre e che si manifesta nell’abbraccio tra due persone destinate a incontrarsi nella vita.

Michele Dal Bon Vi invita nella galleria Le Zoie, San Polo 2176, Venezia, per scoprire la sua collezione “Gold is God”.

La mostra, aperta dal 14 dicembre 2024 al 27 marzo 2025, sarà visitabile da mercoledì a sabato, dalle 15 alle 19.

A Marco.. per mio padre. Design Michele Dal Bon 2024. Da oggi in esposizione nella mia galleria in campo San Polo 2176 a Venezia. Con il progetto ‘A Marco’ Michele Dal Bon propone una collezione di lampade sculture per dar luce alla storia di Venezia.
Tre sculture cubiste rivestite d’oro zecchino e un basso rilievo in vetro di Murano realizzato a cera persa. Tutte le opere sono illuminate da luce al Led, un’esplosione di luce che valorizza i volumi e i dettagli di ogni opera. L’oro, determina il legame tra l’arte del padre Marco e l’arte bizantina dove rappresentava il non reale e le sfere celesti del sacro.

Three cubist sculptures covered in pure gold and a low relief in Murano glass made with lost wax. All works are illuminated by LED light, creating an explosion of light that enhances the volumes and details of each work. Gold, determines the link between the art of father Marco and the Byzantine art where meant the non-real and the celestial spheres of the sacred.

A MARCO… per mio padre.
Con il progetto ‘A Marco’ Michele Dal Bon propone una collezione di lampade sculture per dar luce alla storia di Venezia. A Marco, Capitano e Foscarina.Tre sculture cubiste rivestite d’oro zecchino e Virtù Veneziane un basso rilievo in vetro di Murano realizzato a cera persa. Tutte le opere sono illuminate da luce al Led la quale crea un’esplosione di luce dorata valorizzando i volumi e i dettagli di ogni opera. L’oro zecchino rappresenta il legame tra l’arte di mio padre Marco e l’arte bizantina dove rappresentava il non reale e le sfere celesti del sacro. Un particolare ringraziamento ai straordinari artigiani che hanno collaborato con me a questo progetto. Ai mastri fabbri Ugo Smerghetto e Leonardo Finotello della sdf Murano a Claudio Saccon della Sil Lux Venezia, al maestro doratore Akim della Rnkey sas di Gardigiano, all’amico Paolo Brugnera della Protomakers srl di Preganziol e al caro amico di famiglia e di Marco il Maestro vetraio Giorgio Giuman, senza i quali non sarebbe stato possibile realizzare questo progetto.
