Phoebe Collings-James is part of the group show "Sculpture Beyond The Solid", curated by Jagna Lewandowska and Szymon Maliborski, at Museum Of Modern Art, Warsaw.

The exhibition presents contemporary sculptural practices that take the loss of formal stability as their point of departure – understood not as a metaphor for crisis or a prelude to catastrophe, but as a source of creative tension. What was once considered the goal of sculptural practice – permanence, closure, and the perfection of the finished work – now seems insufficient. In a world where the ground is giving way, sculpture does not pretend to be a foundation. Form does not disappear, but becomes a temporary configuration of processes, tensions, and relations.

A body mimics the posture of a mannequin. An object designed to attract the consumer’s gaze becomes an observer. A catalog created to standardize bodies becomes the subject of porous images. Skin Game is conceived around the liminality of the image: it originates in imitation and then moves toward flirtation and distortion—a cycle in which every surface becomes a body, and every body returns to the image. - E. Ivana Bašić and Simon Dybbroe Møller will be part of the group show “Moteu Imaginaire” at Large Emerige, Paris, from October 17, 2026.

Curated By Cecilia Alemani, the show explores the complex relationships between people, industry and machines. It brings together 50 modern masterpieces from the Fonds Renault pour l’Art et la Culture with newly commissioned works by contemporary artists. Conceived as a journey through the industrial memory of île Seguin and the worlds of imagination it continues to inspire, the exhibition invites visitors to look afresh at the relationships between people, machines and the narratives that shape our time.

In addition to surfaces—which can be conceived as places of transit—Bantone introduces presences that inhabit the space: these bodies are points of view, elements that participate in the construction of the gaze. They are discreet presences that alter the perception of what the images show. This shift reorganizes the gaze and its position—some images retain the frontal orientation of the catalog, presenting the body as something to be examined; others radically shift the point of view.

Riccardo Previdi is part of How to Live?, the exhibition design at MAC LISSONE from October 11, 2026.

The MAC Lissone is dedicating the latest edition of the Lissone Design Award to the theme of living: the question “How to Live?” permeates contemporary thought today. It concerns not only the home as a physical space, but also the way we shape our daily lives, relationships, memories, and identities through the environments we inhabit.
Art and design are not presented as separate disciplines, but as tools through which to interpret the transformations of contemporary society.
