Her soul speaks through her art💚

Meet Artboxy artist Mona Larson from the island of Øygarden, Norway. She paints with a playlist on, follows her intuition, often spots something in the work and then highlights it.

Mona believes every piece she makes has an owner out there who will recognise its message. People often tell her that her paintings feel calming, and that means the world to her.

Here are a few shots from Zug, where Artboxy artist Cat Bakker recently visited the Thomson Gallery to see her painting “Positive Thoughts”🧡

A dreamy portrait of a woman emerging from soft clouds of warm yellow, orange and red, where the colours melt into her face and body. Swiss-born with Dutch roots and now based in the south of France, Cat has devoted over 30 years to art, painting the atmosphere of places and the quiet beauty of the imperfect.

Very soon, Casa del Arte opens a new exhibition, “Reflections Unbound,” with five talented Artboxy artists at its heart, on show from 5 October to 27 November.
