ANATOMY OF A CITY UNDER ATTACK
Cosa accade davvero quando una città viene attaccata?
Non vengono distrutti soltanto gli edifici. Una città è un organismo vivente composto da case, scuole, ospedali, università, luoghi di culto, strade, reti idriche, memorie e relazioni.
Anatomy of a City under Attack mostra come colpire il tessuto urbano significhi compromettere le condizioni stesse della vita: abitare, curarsi, imparare, incontrarsi, ricordare e immaginare un futuro.
L’installazione riunisce dati, immagini e informazioni per rendere visibile l’anatomia della distruzione. Perché difendere una città significa difendere le persone che la abitano e il loro diritto ad avere una casa, una comunità e un futuro.

What really happens when a city comes under attack?
It is not only buildings that are destroyed. A city is a living organism made of homes, schools, hospitals, universities, places of worship, streets, water systems, memories and relationships.
Anatomy of a City under Attack reveals how attacking the urban fabric means undermining the very conditions that make life possible: living, healing, learning, meeting, remembering and imagining a future.
The installation brings together data, images and information to make the anatomy of destruction visible. Because defending a city means defending the people who inhabit it—and their right to a home, a community and a future.
