Tra dame, cavalieri, paggi e sbandieratori, il grande Corteo Storico attraversa le vie della città, rievocando le atmosfere dell’antico Ducato e una tradizione che affonda le sue radici nella storia medievale della nostra terra.

Il 1° settembre, giorno del Capodanno Bizantino, è un viaggio nel tempo: storia, cultura e identità amalfitana si incontrano per celebrare una città che ancora oggi custodisce e tramanda il proprio straordinario patrimonio.

Amid ladies, knights, pages and flag-wavers, the magnificent Historical Procession winds through the streets of the town, bringing back to life the atmosphere of the ancient Duchy and a tradition deeply rooted in the medieval history of our land.

September 1st, the day of the Byzantine New Year, is a journey through time: history, culture and Amalfi’s identity come together to celebrate a city that continues to preserve and pass on its extraordinary heritage.
