A closer look at Riddhi Shah’s (Riddhi Shah) process for What the Light Remembers. Working with gouache, watercolour, gold pigment, walnut stain, and hand-cut jaali patterns, Shah builds each work through layers of precision, translucency, texture, and chance. From material to memory, the process becomes part of the story itself. On view at Gallerie Nvya, Saket from 26th September, 2026.

Gallerie Nvya Through Time | For Gallerie Nvya, nurturing emerging practices has remained part of a larger commitment to the continuum of Indian art.

Through the Nvya Grant and continued engagement with younger artists, the gallery has created space for new voices to be encountered, considered, and carried forward.

A continuing dialogue between what has been established and what is still unfolding.

Gallerie Nvya Through Time | Over the years, Gallerie Nvya’s journey has moved across cities, platforms, and contexts.

India Art Fair, Art Mumbai, Art SG Singapore, and other presentations became moments of exchange - opportunities to encounter new audiences, deepen relationships, and place Indian artistic practices within wider conversations.

Each chapter added something to the journey.
The dialogue continues.
