What did Coleen Rooney do to make her 40th birthday feel personal? šŸø

Amongst the bespoke details was a collection of commissioned artworks created specifically for the occasion.

It’s part of a wider shift that’s becoming increasingly popular for summer entertaining. Rather than relying solely on flowers, styling and temporary dĆ©cor, more hosts are using art to create atmosphere, define spaces and give guests something memorable to connect with.

For this private celebration, our client commissioned a series of bespoke layered editions from Gareth Tristan Evans’ Urban Geisha collection, displayed throughout the garden as part of the event styling and transforming the space for one unforgettable evening.

The best part? The artworks didn’t disappear when the celebration ended.

Each piece was moved into the family home, becoming a permanent reminder of a day shared with family and friends.

A beautiful table setting lasts a few hours, but great artwork keeps the memories alive for years.

What if you could create David Bowie using the very thing that made him famous? āš”ļø

Newly arrived at Wyecliffe Galleries, this extraordinary original by Ben Riley Art is crafted from broken vinyl records, vinyl dust and layered collage; transforming music into art in a way few artists can achieve.

Featuring Bowie in his iconic Ziggy Stardust era, the artwork is packed with hidden references, song titles and visual details that reveal themselves the longer you look.

It’s a fitting tribute to an artist who built a career on reinvention.

For more than two decades, Ben Riley has blurred the boundaries between music and fine art, creating portraits that capture not just a likeness, but the energy, character and cultural impact of the people who changed the world. As Riley explains:

ā€œEach feature is its own song, each subject its own genre.ā€

And there could hardly be a more fitting subject than Bowie.

Watch until the end to see how shattered records become one of music’s most recognisable faces.

⚔ Which Bowie song would be playing in your head if this was hanging on your wall?

No two visitors see the same gallery šŸŽØ

One of the things we love most is watching people explore.

Someone will walk straight past a piece that another person can’t stop thinking about. One collector is drawn to colour, another to a landscape, another to a portrait that somehow reminds them of themselves.

And honestly, some of our favourite conversations start with:

ā€œI don’t really know anything about art.ā€

The truth is, you don’t need to. You just need an open mind.

The best collections aren’t built by knowing all the right names or following trends. They’re built by connecting with something that makes you stop, look twice, and feel something.

With fresh displays throughout the gallery, there’s always something new to discover; whether you’re looking for artwork for your home, searching for inspiration, or simply enjoying the experience of being surrounded by creativity.

Swipe through and see which artist, artwork or story speaks to you most and tell us in the comments - which piece stopped you scrolling?

šŸ“ Visit the gallery or book a personal video call and let us help you discover something you’ll love.

✨ Wait until you see what's hiding beneath this golden canopy...

At first glance, it feels like a peaceful woodland scene. But look closer and lanterns glow from the branches. Tiny woodland creatures gather beneath the trees. An owl watches over a secret picnic, while stories seem to spill from every corner of the painting. 🌳🦌🦊

In this reel, Kerry Darlington talks us through the creation of 'Our Golden Canopy' and reveals the inspiration behind one of the most enchanting pieces from her recent exhibition 'A Sky Full of Stories', which debuted at Wyecliffe Galleries earlier this year.

And if you've ever wondered why collectors spend so long exploring Kerry's work, this painting is the perfect answer.
Every branch, every animal, every hidden detail has a story to tell
šŸ’« Watch until the end and tell us which detail you spotted first.

Unique Edition available now, including a small number of rare Artist Proofs with additional copper embellishment.

Some artworks don’t need a white gallery wall. šŸŒž

Give them a Marbella penthouse, Mediterranean sunshine and open skies, and they feel right at home.

Becky Smith Art’s originals were photographed here ahead of their Marbella debut, and it’s easy to see why. The colours, the setting and the lifestyle seem to speak the same language.

Colourful, uplifting and full of energy, they sit perfectly in the kind of spaces many contemporary art collectors aspire to create.

A few years ago, Koffins wasn’t a full-time artist šŸ’š

After building a successful career in high-end custom apparel, a visit to the Louvre sparked something that would change the course of his life. By 2023, he had committed himself entirely to painting.

Today, his work is recognised for its striking portraits, bridging the gap between historical portraiture and modern cultural cool. Solitary figures are suspended against bold fields of colour, each carrying a presence that feels both deeply personal and universally familiar.

Speaking about his work, Koffins says;

"I try to capture states that are often difficult to express with words. Something raw, almost subconscious, that people can still recognise within themselves."

One of the most recognisable elements of his paintings is the green;

"Green represents a kind of tension between calm and unease. It can feel alive, organic, but also slightly unsettling depending on how it’s used. I think that’s why people react to it. It’s familiar, but not entirely comfortable."

We’re proud to welcome Koffins to Wyecliffe Galleries and excited to share more of his work in the months ahead.

If this is your first time discovering Koffins, it probably won’t be your last.

A home evolves in the same way an art collection does: one bold, intentional decision at a time.

Now that we’re halfway through the year, it’s the perfect time to check in on the goals you set back in January. Perhaps one of them was to refresh your interiors, start art collecting, or continue building a collection that reflects your personality and passions.

The right artwork does more than fill a wall. It brings personality, sparks conversation, creates atmosphere and transforms the way a space feels.

In this stunning interior, vibrant works by Lhouette and Amylee bring energy, colour and character to every room, demonstrating how thoughtfully chosen original art can completely elevate a home.

The most rewarding part of art collecting is that there is no finish line. The best collections evolve over time, with each artwork adding another chapter to your story. Whether you’re a seasoned art collector or searching for the piece that starts your collecting journey, every collection begins with a connection.

✨ If you could add one artwork to your home this year, what would it bring to your space - colour, calm, energy, nostalgia, conversation?

What happens when contemporary art collectors, an international artist and one of Marbella’s most iconic venues come together? ā˜€ļø

One year ago, Wyecliffe Galleries brought Becky Smith Art's artwork to Marbella for an unforgettable evening at Breathe Marbella.

Hosted in one of Marbella’s most sought-after venues, the event welcomed contemporary art collectors, private clients and art enthusiasts to experience Becky Smith’s latest collection in an inspiring setting.

Collectors had the opportunity to meet Becky in person, explore the collection up close and be among the first to experience the artwork in this incredible setting.

This is what Wyecliffe Galleries does best; connecting contemporary artists with serious collectors in extraordinary locations.

Marbella. Becky Smith. BREATHE.

A night to remember.

Should Wyecliffe return to Marbella? šŸ‘‡

2,000+ miles. 50+ artworks. Countless stories. 🚚✨

This was May according to Ben and Katia.

From Liverpool to Newcastle. Manchester to Blackpool. The Wye Valley to Cambridge. Along the Jurassic Coast, down to Plymouth and Exeter (twice!) and everywhere in between, we've spent the last month hand delivering over 50 original artworks and limited editions to collectors across the UK.

Kerry Darlington. Becky Smith Arts. Lhouette. David Renshaw Artist. Rozanne Bell Artist

Different artists. Different homes. Different stories.

For us, it's never just about delivering artwork. Whenever possible, it's about meeting collectors in person, seeing where a piece will live, sharing the excitement of a new arrival, and building the relationships that sit at the heart of what we do.

Every collection tells a story, and one of our favourite parts of the role is seeing where each artwork begins its next chapter. Whether we're delivering to your doorstep, welcoming you into the gallery, or helping you build a collection remotely from anywhere in the world, that personal touch will always be at the heart of the Wyecliffe experience.
