How to stay cool this weekend at Brooklands Museum!
During the current extreme hot weather expected from Friday 15th July, the interior of some of our exhibits, particularly the aircraft, will get extremely hot and we may need to close some exhibits earlier than usual to help look after our visitors, volunteers and staff and to protect our exhibits.
Please we have made the decision to close the museum on Monday 18th July for the safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Please check back for further updates and to confirm whether we will be open again on Tuesday 19th July.

Today marks 115 years since the Brooklands race track was opened! The procession of cars was led by Ethel Locke King, and it wasn’t long until records were being broken on the Brooklands Circuit!
