As the days shorten and Halloween approaches the season for hunkering down with a really good book beside the fire is upon us. And speaking of good books... we have a great selection of 'must reads' for you to browse. Jenny has made a lovely spooky window display with a few of our books ably assisted by young Oakley Whiting-Bethell. Thank you Oakley, great job!

Jenny & James had a day away from the gallery yesterday and went out to... a gallery. They trundled off to Sudbury to Gainsborough's House to have a look at 'Gainsborough, Turner and Constable - Inventing Landscape' exhibition. Also on show in the other rooms were Land, Sky, Light: New Landscapes by David Dawson and Remember Tomorrow: Kate Giles. They both thoroughly enjoyed their visit with a very nice lunch too.

Beautiful morning for a beach walk before opening the gallery; leading to the inevitable beach finds
Probably more beachcombing than mudlarking but it’s made me want to flick though these books this morning.

We love this pot. And we love it when you connect with our work too. This is one of the pieces chosen by The Oyster Gallery on Mersea Island last weekend while at Potfest in Suffolk. What lovely people that run the Gallery - please visit if you can!
