Welwyn Roman Baths The remains of a preserved 3rd century Roman bath-house. The site is located off junction 6 of the A1(m) on the Welwyn bypass road.

The 3rd century Roman bath house at Welwyn, Hertfordshire is part of the remains of what was the Dicket Mead Roman Villa. The bath-house is all that remains of the site today and the bath-house monument is presrved in an ingenious steel-lined vault underneath the A1(M). The site is open 2-5pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays from January-November and 2-5pm everyday during Hertfordshire school holidays.
