Beach combed creations. - I think I might paint on this bit of beautiful wood too.

I found wild garlic growing on the beach and also a huge area of aloe Vera. How beautiful Mother Nature is with her gifts of medicine and food. Although many pass it over and over again with no knowledge of its power, use or value these days. My nanny would have had me collecting it.

It’s taken me a little while to get round to posting but just wanted to say a little thank you to you both.

This is now my morning ritual holder. Either a turmeric and oat latte or for today my coffee, raw egg yolk and ghee cuppa. Drinking from a cup that has been made with love makes it more special.

Energy is real. 🙌🧡

Now for some art. 🪶🤍

You’ve probably walked past my work… without even realising.

I’m Rebecca Hyde, a watercolour artist from Oxfordshire and founder of Wild Earth Art — creating nature-inspired artwork rooted in wildlife, calm, and the beauty of the natural world.

Penguin Love and Peacock Luck — are now stocked in most John Lewis and Waitrose stores across the UK.

Originally painted in delicate watercolour, each piece carries a quiet meaning — connection, love, and a sense of grounded elegance inspired by nature.

From countryside studio to national shelves… and into homes across the world.

If you spot them, I’d love to know.

This beautiful shot was captured by this great photographer .soman - go check him out.

I have some lovely photographer contacts that give me permission to paint their work and I am so very grateful. It is a real pleasure and treasure to share creative love for nature with other souls.

I have had a periods of illness this last year and finally after 5 weeks of being unable to much I can tell you how healing painting has been for me this last 5 days.

I finally have found my way back to my paintbrush.

Thanks also to my dear friend at for making me a little wooden portable painting tablet. It’s been sooo useful. And I really am so lucky to have some incredible friends, family and neighbours Many thanks to: &richard. You have absolutely held me up. I am soo grateful for your love and faith in me. I totally got this 🪶🤍

A little stroll in my city this afternoon.

I love Oxford, it’s beautiful, the architecture is amazing and there is so much to explore in the back streets.

But today I went to see my Christmas Cards in store.
Thanks for asking me to continue supply into 2026 ✨🤍🪶

These two designs are now available online at John Lewis or instore. They are also in many Waitrose stores.

Do go and check out the lovely reviews on the John Lewis website for my cards. I had a peak last week and it was soo lovely to feel a little connected with people that have purchased my designs.
