We’re delighted to have taken delivery of four new works by Richard Barrett, now available at The Rutland Gallery.

Richard’s journey to becoming a full-time artist began in Cardiff, taking him through Sheffield, London, and the commercial art world before returning to his true passion: painting.

Inspired by the ever-changing dynamics of light, weather, and landscape, Richard’s expressive works capture the essence and spirit of a place rather than a literal view. Through sketching, memory, and intuition, his paintings invite viewers to discover their own story within the landscape.

Visit us to view these beautiful new additions in The Gallery.

𝘈𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴 by Beckie Reed

95 x 125 cm
Acrylic and Enamel on canvas
£4,150

Beckie Reed is continually drawn to woodland and treescapes. Many layers are built up to create beautiful, evocative paintings. The tree trunks and branches are dribbled on using a high gloss medium, requiring an element of control but also spontaneity to give the work a looseness and freedom that’s contrasted with the controlled detailed areas.

Beckie Reed regularly exhibits in London, Cambridge and Norfolk and in international art fairs as far afield as New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Toronto. Beckie Reed’s work is held in private collections all over the world.

𝘈𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴 by Beckie Reed is available at The Rutland Gallery now.

We’re delighted to share that artist Bridget Lansley’s home has been featured as House of the Month in the July 2026 edition of 25 Beautiful Homes.

The feature offers a glimpse inside Bridget’s beautifully curated home, where a selection of her own paintings can be seen displayed throughout the interior. Reflecting on both her artistic practice and approach to interiors, Bridget explains: “I like to keep the colour palette controlled when I paint – approaching the interior of the house was similar.”

The result is a home that perfectly reflects her distinctive artistic eye, balancing colour, texture and composition with effortless elegance.

We are very fortunate to have Bridget’s work on display and available to purchase at The Rutland Gallery! Congratulations to Bridget on this wonderful feature.

Marian Hyland

Marian Hyland is a contemporary British artist whose expressive abstract paintings explore the powerful relationships between space, shape and colour. Combining drawing, painting and collage, she creates richly layered original artworks.

Working predominantly in oils and mixed media, Marian Hyland’s creative process is driven by exploration rather than predetermined outcomes. She believes in finding the image rather than making it, allowing each painting to evolve naturally through successive layers of expressive mark-making, texture and surface.

𝘗𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 and 𝘏𝘦𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 by Marian Hyland are now available at The Rutland Gallery.
