Anissa and John Gardner visited Towcester Museum this morning, having travelled all the way from Vancouver Island in Canada. John’s family have lived in Towcester for the last 300 years - since the 1600’s! For quite a while they lived near Towcester Mill on Moat Lane. We were very proud to participate in one of the Northamptonshire heritage open days today! This is one of England's largest festival of history and culture and offers the opportunity for local people to experience hidden gems and try out new experiences for free.
