Purchase these delicious traditional treats from the Bakery at Blists Hill when you visit. Bread purchased from the bakery is still freshly baked on site. A range of sweet treats, along with our much-loved vegan scones, are available from the Welcome Cafรฉ and Forest Glen.

It's Thursday which means the next batch of tickets have been released. Head over to the website to book a visit for Blists Hill and/or the Jackfield Tile Museum.

We know people have asked about the 30-minute booking window. This refers to your arrival and parking time - there's a 30-minute slot for you to arrive and park, and then you're welcome to spend as long as you like visiting Blists Hill or the Jackfield Tile Museum!

We've been delighted to see such high visitor numbers since opening. This has meant that our car parks have often reached capacity. The booking system helps us manage numbers to ensure everyone can experience a comfortable visit.

We are delighted to be able to open Coalport China Museum and Broseley Pipeworks for this yearโ€™s Heritage Open Days

Both sites will be open on 11, 12, and 13 September, and again on 18, 19, and 20 September for you to book guided tours.

This year's theme of Industrious Women is in partnership with Findmypast, and will explore the everyday lives of the female work force which played an integral part in the ceramic industries. The event will also you to access the Findmypast website to begin to explore your own family history.

There's just enough time to squeeze in another trip to the seaside in over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Spend the day building sandcastles and splashing in the fresh water play with your family at our very own inland beach at Blists Hill-on-Sea.

The inland beach and Summer of Play are available up to and including 1st September. Be sure to book your tickets to visit on the website over the Bank Holiday weekend as it can get very busy.

There are a few spaces left on our last Young Makers workshop in Coalbrookdale tomorrow.

Make a colourful candle using a traditional dipping method, and try your hand at etching techniques to design and print your very own picture to take home. Workshops are at 10:30 - 12:00 and 13:30 - 15:00. Book on the website or use the link in the comments.

More tickets have been released on the website. Constable Jarrett recommends that all visitors pre-book on the website before they arrive to avoid any japes and capers!

Pre-booking helps us manage arrival times and ensures a more comfortable visit for everyone. Blists Hill is open 7 days a week, 9amโ€“5pm with last admission at 4pm and exhibits closing at 4.30pm. Jackfield Tile Museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am - 4.30pm

Happy International Dog Day!

Did you know that well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in all outdoor spaces across Ironbridge? There are local walks and green spaces to be enjoyed at all our sites, and at Blists Hill there is a dog-friendly walk up to the Hay Inclined Plane.

Head to the website for more information about visiting with your dog. Don't forget to tag us in your photos when visiting with your four-legged friends!
