In fond mory of our artist Vladimir Shichkov who passed away 10 years ago. Whilst we only ever communicated online through a translator, I always got the impression that Vladimir was a lovely kind and gentle soul and his untimely passing at the age of 65 a great loss to the art world. He was truly an artist with a unique voice combining elements of post-impressionism, expressionism and abstraction and he had a particular predilection for hiding as many objects as possible within his still-lives. It really only feels like just the other day that we were discussing further collaboration.

Hester Berry's Beaver Pond has found a new home 😊Just received feedback from client "It is here and it is beautiful!" This is a typical response with Hester's work when they arrive. Maybe this from a client in the US was our all-time favourite - "I have just opened them. I love them beyond words. BEYOND!!! All four. I cannot express how much I adore them. Thank you...!!!" However much we try to ensure accuracy of photos, there is nothing quite like seeing the original in the flesh where the body and depth become apparent. New Hesters coming soon in our Summer Exhibition!
