A little look back at our recent Skies & Seascapes Paint & Sip and we LOVE how differently everyone interpreted the same painting. 💙 From dramatic stormy skies and deep blues to brighter coastlines and crashing waves – same starting point, completely different finished pieces.

That’s always one of our favourite things about Paint & Sip at The Art Room. We’ll guide you through the painting, but we absolutely don’t want 12 identical canvases at the end. Add more colour, change the sky, make it moodier, brighter, messier… make it yours. ✨

🎨🥂 Your next Paint & Sip nights are calling…🥂🎨

If you’ve been meaning to come along to one of our Paint & Sips, we’ve got some VERY fun ones coming up at The Art Room. And judging by some of the paintings coming out of the studio lately… we cannot wait to see what you create. ✨

Coming up:

🎨 Female Form: bold, expressive and a little bit beautiful
🪸 Underwater Coral: dreamy blues, colourful coral and an underwater escape
🌸 Whimsical Flower Field: but make it peachy🍑
🍊 Summer Oranges: bright, colourful and giving us all the Mediterranean vibes
🪿 Silly Goose: quite possibly the most unserious painting we’ve ever put on the calendar
🐋 Underwater Whale: atmospheric, dreamy and one we think is going to be gorgeous

Our Paint & Sips are all about switching off for an evening, picking up a paintbrush and having a go. You absolutely do not need to know how to paint, we’ll guide you through it, but your finished piece is yours to make completely your own.

Every Thursday from 6pm

🎨 Last remaining spaces for our September Kids Art Clubs! 🎨

Yesterday, our parent and child painters created these gorgeous colourful kiwis — with one brilliant Mount Fuji too! 🍋‍🟩🗻 We love seeing everyone’s different ideas come to life, and we can’t wait for lots more creativity when our new weekly art clubs begin this September.

We now only have a handful of spaces remaining:

And for our last acrylic pour session of the summer, we got wonderfully messy with Chloe! 🌈

Pouring, swirling, mixing and watching the colours do their thing — there’s something SO satisfying about acrylic pouring 😍 And we absolutely love that every single piece comes out completely unique.

🎨✨ OUR KIDS ART CLUBS ARE COMING!✨🎨

We are SO excited to finally share that this September, The Art Room Kids Art Clubs are officially launching – with Tuesday after-school sessions AND brand new Saturday morning clubs!🌈

Saturday mornings at The Art Room have been something we’ve wanted to introduce for a while, and we can’t wait to fill the studio with young artists creating, experimenting, getting a little messy and discovering just how much fun making art can be. 💛

Our clubs aren’t about everyone creating exactly the same thing. We want children to explore different materials, learn new techniques, develop their own ideas and, most importantly, build confidence in their creativity.

And these photos from one of our recent Parent & Child abstract painting sessions are the perfect example of that – one idea, lots of different interpretations and completely individual pieces of art. 🎨🖌️

We’ll have clubs for different ages across:

🌈 Tuesday afternoons – after school
☀️ Saturday mornings
🎨 Primary & secondary school ages

Each term will bring new themes, mediums and techniques to explore, so there will always be something new to create.
