I know I should be wishing for rain … but I’m really not. ☺️My studio space has been quadrupled in size for months and it’s been so needed in keeping my large seascapes flowing into the Jimi Zen Gallery ! ☀️🌊

Calling all artist friends! 🎨

Based near Tenby and looking for a reliable printmaker? I can wholeheartedly recommend mine!

Not only is David Bodie Bolton a superb photographer, but he also offers the same high standards and meticulous attention to detail that he brings to his own work, to other artists.

As well as framing some prints for me, Dave has been producing mounted, wrapped prints of my artwork for several months now — and I genuinely haven't had a single flaw. His work is consistently meticulous.

And it’s not just the quality. Dave is incredibly prompt, competitively priced and always accommodating. Whether I need just one print or a larger number, he’s happy to help, and the turnaround time is impressively quick.

For any artist looking for consistently excellent quality, great service and a really quick turnaround, I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Thanks, Dave ! 🙏🏻

There are many reasons why exhibiting in Art on The Faith Trail (3/8/26-1/9/26) at St David’s Cathedral feels special.

Taking something I’ve created into that beautiful space - the creation of master craftsmen- is a humbling honour.

Exhibiting alongside such talented and genuinely lovely people makes my heart sing - installation day was a treat !

And this year taking one of the paintings I’ve worked up from a photographic image kindly supplied by David Bodie Bolton Photography, to sit alongside my other coastal works, felt really special. ‘First Light - Last Shadows’ is created from a beautiful image Bodie captured at sunrise in Tenby.

My work is a tiny fraction of what’s on show - There’s a wonderfully diverse collection of paintings, sculpture and ceramics from : Nicola Beattie; Deb Chapman; Mark Crockett; Katie Fiszman; Sally Green; Owen Hart; Jill Jones; Austen Pinkerton; Barbara Price; Ana Secova & Dawn Steward.

Many, many thanks to curators Sally Green and Austen Pinkerton for again freely giving their time to make this exhibition so worthwhile.

Delighted to be invited to exhibit in this impressive group show at Oriel Q, Narberth. ‘Retreat’ and ‘Sanctuary at Caerfai’ are two large, textural, mixed media paintings hung amongst a wonderful collection of work celebrating the beauty of the area. Many thanks to the curators. 🙏🏻

Keeping the Jimi Zen Gallery stocked with seascapes is certainly keeping me busy at the moment!

I know I’ll never create anything as beautiful as Mother Nature, but I’m incredibly grateful that my paintings continue to find homes with people who connect with them.

I’m feeling especially excited today because I’m about to begin a new series of paintings that I’ve been wanting to create for quite some time.

The collection will be exhibited as part of the Art on the Faith Trail exhibition at St David’s Cathedral from 3 August to 1 September. It’s a real privilege to be exhibiting in such an extraordinary setting alongside a wonderfully talented group of Pembrokeshire artists. I always look forward to the opportunity.

But today’s excitement comes from something else too.

I’ve been generously given access to the photographic archive of local photographer David Bodie Bolton
which will provide the starting point and inspiration for this new body of work.

In my opinion, nobody knows Tenby quite like Bodie. Born and bred here, he’s spent decades photographing our extraordinary coastline, streets and skies through every season, every tide and every kind of light. The remarkable archive he’s has built is a testament not only to his skill as a photographer, but to a lifelong love of his hometown.

To be trusted with access to such an incredible collection of images, and to use them as inspiration for this new series, is both an honour and a joy.

Now… time to put paint to canvas and hope to do justice to this generous creative collaboration…🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering some new work to the Jimi Zen Gallery in Sergeant’s Lane, Tenby.

What a beautiful, thoughtfully curated space. It’s warm, welcoming and filled with an inspiring collection of work from a range of talented artists, with something to suit a variety of tastes and budgets.

One thing that particularly caught my eye was their ‘Tide Table’—a lovely invitation to experience the gallery differently. You can book a quiet morning hour over freshly roasted Pembrokeshire coffee, or an evening visit with a chilled drink as the sun sets over the harbour. It’s a wonderful reminder that art deserves time and space to be truly looked at, rather than hurried past.

If you’re in Tenby, do pop in—or scan the QR code to book one of these special sessions. It’s a gallery well worth discovering.
