Still can’t believe this lot travelled up from Falmouth for the opening of Patterns.

Well, I mean, I can.. the exhibition is great, and to meet and have a chat with the man himself is a big bonus.

But Falmouth to Newport and back to Falmouth in a day is a commitment.

We have a three week exhibition slot available starting June 19th..

We’re looking for a photographic body of work or ongoing project to fill it.

This sits between two brilliant shows in David Hurn and Mohamed Hassan, so it’s a genuinely great spot to be in.

Short notice, we know. Work must be print ready. There is a fee involved.

We’re also open to a group exhibition. It doesn’t have to be solo.

A week ago today saw Glenn Edwards bring The Eye Festival to Newport.

The Eye International Photography Festival will take place at venues across the city from 15th - 17th May.

The festival opens on the evening of Friday 15th May, with a special event to mark the opening of David Hurn’s exhibition Patterns at Clwb Ffoto at Newport Arcade.

It will be the first time that Newport, famous throughout the photography world for the legendary Documentary Photography course started in the 1970s by Magnum photographer David Hurn, has hosted the festival.

The 2026 festival will feature a series of exhibitions, talks and events in venues across the city centre.
