I have just done a REEL with a filter. First time I ever used a filter. This is me for real with no filters. It's no wonder filters are popular! Could be dangerous for self esteem though. I've spent my whole Iife feeling that I was lacking in terms of my looks. It was the norm for all women when I was younger because we are were always valued by our beauty. I think things are worse now because so many men and women are now paying to put their perceived imperfections right. Body dysmorphia is huge business. I never felt that I didn't need improvement, but I also had an over-riding understanding that it was ok not to be perfect luckily. In fact, I learned to dislike perfection and love imperfection in others. I'm glad of an imperfect world because that is what makes it interesting. After all, it is the individuality of that imperfection that we fall in love with, isn't it?
