The Annual Rickman International Bike Meeting Day will be taking place at the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum on Sunday 14th June from 10am to 3pm.
What a great day out – with lots of bikes on display, special guests and a raffle raising funds for Oakhaven Hospice.

The Lilac Lancer Mk 5 is a 250cc V Twin, shaft driven 4 speed motorcycle from the Marusho company in Japan.
It's founder Masashi Ito founded the motorcycle company in 1948.
31 models were built under the Lilac name, this was his wife's favourite flower!
The company's best year was 1959 when just over 11,000 bikes were built including the new upgraded elegant V Twins, similar to the German Victoria.
In 1967 the Marusho company merged with Honda.

This Sunday its the Annual Japanese Bike Day.
Sunday 14th - Rickman 60th Anniversary Event.
Saturday 20th - Bumble Blast 2026 Charity ride.
Sunday 21st - Harley Davidson Meet.
Sunday 28th - National Airhead Day

We look forward to welcoming you no matter what you ride or drive, the museum is open 10am to 4.30pm.

MARIA COSTELLO MBE | Road to Recovery 🧡

A GoFundMe has been set up by Team Maria to help support Maria on what will be a long and challenging road ahead, and we wanted to share it with you all.

As many of you will know, Maria was involved in a serious accident during sidecar qualifying at this year's TT on 26th May. We can now share that Maria's injuries are more significant than previously known. She has sustained a broken back and is currently paralysed from the chest down, along with a number of other serious injuries. She is stable and receiving treatment in Liverpool, and her team say she is beyond determined to fight back with everything she has.

Maria's recovery will require extensive specialist rehabilitation, surgery, and significant changes to how she lives her daily life — adapted housing, specialist equipment and ongoing physio care among them. The costs involved are considerable, and after a lifetime of giving everything to this sport, it's now our turn to give something back.

Watch Sammy as he takes delivery of the museum's latest exhibit.
A 1959 250cc Lilac, made in Japan and as new with only 88 miles on the clock! Very few were made and even less remaining so a great bike for the museum. 🏍️👌

You are invited to park up in the courtyard from 10am (please note, no vehicular exit from the courtyard before 1pm. Anyone wishing to leave earlier, please park in the main car park).
