Day 2 of the art2life_world week and it’s been fab so much to recap and learn today was all about value. This was what I created in the session all about the contrast of dark and light. Really enjoyed putting this with the design elements learnt in day 1. Really interesting and inspiring, felt a new found confidence in that it’s ok to cover up and allow that to be a hidden by visible kind of conversation. Really enjoyed this session and cannot wait for tonight when we all get some in depth feedback and how things can be improved.

I have spent the afternoon watching the first session on the Art2Life weeks course. Listening to artists talk about who they compose the flow of their work. The details in taking a persons eye around the page to capture engagement and emotional connecting. It’s all ever fascinating. Finishing the session with a wild and feelings lead painting which I could feel the nervousness turning into excitement and joy as I was painting. Cannot wait for tonight’s session. I will post when I can this week to keep everyone updated on what I am doing. 💗

What a beautiful sunny weekend! Spring is round the corner and I had a lovely visit from my Mum and Dad who brought me these beautiful gerberas they are my favourite. So I have spend all weekend cleaning some lovely places for new tenants. But I have missed a bit of creativity so treated myself to some haribo balla bites and found myself mixing colours! Not all creativity has to be paint or clay. Sometimes we can just play with food 😅🤭🤣🤣

I loved this book was a really good read and I know for me and my children’s creativity no matter how big or small really does release something that calms and brings peace and clearer thinking. Definitely worth a read!
