THROWBACK THURSDAY!!!
Continuing with my work for Stuff of Legends and a set of Forge World Goblin Command I did back around 2012. I love painting greenskins of all varieties and Night Goblins were amongst the very first things I painted when I started with 'eavy Metal, so I have a real soft spot for them, so I really had fun with these. They're still available from GW, so maybe I'll take another crack at them one day, although I do have the Forge World Orc Command tucked away somewhere, so maybe that first...

NEW MINI MONDAY!!!
With all the fuss about new Necromunda I decided, a few weeks ago, to right a terrible wrong that has bothered me for years*, that I never got to contribute more than a couple of miniatures to the whole project. All that I painted for the original Necromunda release were the plastic Goliaths from the original boxed game. To set this awful injustice right I've started on a number of classic Necromunda projects.
The first one is finished- a set of the plastic Goliaths and Orlocks from the original boxed set- one of each of the two ganger variants.
I hope you like them- there will be another classic Necromunda piece coming soon...

*not really. I know I look like an Oldhammer dwarf, but I don't bear grudges like that...

Anyway...
Something old/new with a Necromunda theme coming from me tomorrow. Watch this space!

Next week: the Eschers and Goliaths are getting reinforcements and new leaders, along with the first new Underhive Journals, and more. Warhammer Community has the details: https://ow.ly/xP9z50ZG8aZ

THROWBACK THURSDAY!!!
In memory of the late, great Richard Hale, aka Orclord, I've decided that, for the forseeable future, my Throwback Thursday posts will focus on the work I did for him over the last 25+ years.
Obviously the place to start is with the first piece I did for him: The Chaos Khazi!
Sculpted by Aly Morrison, this was one of the early Citadel Limited Edition releases and I still think it's a wonderfully insane sculpt. I painted this one for Richard back in the late '90s.

WIP WEDNESDAY!
With all the display-level stuff I've been working on at the moment (and with a lot more to come-watch this space) it's nice to have something on the desk that I can do as a quick, gaming-level set. So here's some yellow armoured space dudes that WON'T be Imperial Fists...

The wonderful response to my finishing-off of Gorfang Rotgut has given me an idea...
TLC TUESDAY!!!
What I'm going to do is work through the shelf of half-finished, abandoned minis from days of yore, and finish them off. There's quite a few of them, so it'll be enough to keep me going for a while. Some are personal pieces that never got finished, some will be old studio minis that need a bit of repair work. Some need a lot of work, some need just a little touching up. There's even going to be a couple more collaborations in there...
So, to kick things off, we've got this old Marauder Dwarf, that I painted as a test piece for an army for myself when I was still at the studio. As you can see, he needs a bit of work to tidy him up a bit and bring him up to standard.
Hopefully, he'll be ready this time next week...
