Thomas Demisevicius () is a Lithuanian born visual artist who currently working on pushing boundaries with imagination and cultivating acceptance through his art, Tomas is exploring his practice through a range of drawings, paintings and wooden sculptures. Through a heady mix of innuendo, provocative imagery and sly humour.

Tomas embraces his own experiences, infusing his mesmerising creations with a potent blend of audacity, wit and unapologetic sensuality.

Meet Will Belshah ( ) the curator behind “NSFW”

The exhibition explores an artist’s role in society, their relationship with capitalism and the individual identity but camaraderie of an artist in context of a larger group of peers.

The style of presentation aims to echo Basquiat, Scharf + Haring’s early shows with work displayed in a manner true to the ethos of the work itself.

PS… this is not a mug show of Will’s protest at where he left three of his paintings in the lobby, then read a statement on the pace of curation in public art institutions in relation to current affairs.

Profiles on contributing “NSFW” artists to follow.

🚫NSFW🚫

Opening preview 24th Aug 6pm (this Thursday)

NSFW, or ‘Not Safe For Work’ typically means explicit. But in this exhibition, we interpret and explore it as meaning divergent, othered and unconventional curated by
The Western world demands a specific path in life for us. Be complicit and (in theory) you should be rewarded. Inaccuracies of that myth aside, what about those who don’t always or completely subscribe to those norms? Where do they fit into that myth?
In this exhibition 19 artists come together to explore their existence in a system and amongst institutions that aren’t always the most inclusive.
Through paint, photography, sculpture, drawing, digital art and performance.
As always were doing things differently.

Avenging Angel is one of Jamie’s favourite prints which is his appropriation of an angel from William Blake, with added phallus and molotov cocktail, taking revenge on the all encompassing threat of Global Capitalism.

This image is very much a perfect example of Jamie’s lifelong stance against rampant corporate-fuelled destruction of our communities and of the plant itself.

Sad to announce that this morning Jamie MacGregor Reid passed away this morning. Jamie was an inspiring soul and the original rebel! His work defined a movement, and will forever be associated with the S*x Pistols and the DIY ethic of the punk rock movement.

Jamie’s spirit of defiance and rebellion has always been a huge inspiration to us, both as a gallery, and as individuals. Over the years, we’ve admired his career as he fought to expose injustice, creating thoughtful and provocative art that encourages independence and has been a ‘driving force of rage against the monarchy, the state and the status quo’.

On a day when we’re reflecting on his legacy, we have decided that our current show “Demand the Reasonable’ will be open every day until the 20th August.

Jamie’s been a massive inspiration to me personally. Unfortunately few people nowadays have the balls to do challenge the establishment and people in authority.

“Mad For It” by Epi is dropping Friday 5pm 🍋🤯

Our first print release with launches 5pm Friday with 50% of proceeds going to charity who provide a dignified drop in service for the homeless of Manchester.

With his work described by critics as a complete insult to good taste, execrable sh*te, the visual manifestation of an undiagnosed psychiatric illness, and even absolute wank” (by his own mother)

Epi’s primary goal is to satirize the absurdity and inanity of contemporary art, seeing himself not as an artist (a sentiment resoundingly echoed by collectors and gallerists alike) but rather a cultural commentator mining the lexicon of the visual zeitgeist to communicate some deeper truth about the abhorrence of consumer culture gone woefully awry.

"..plagiarist.." - The Times
"..absolute tool.." - Country Life
"..profoundly unwell.." - Psychiatry Today
"..Who?.." - Forbes Magazine
"..a fine horseman..” - Horse & Hound

Epi hopes that one day, long after his death, he will finally get the recognition he doesn’t deserve.

Alex's goal as an artist is to deliver a sense of innocent, joyful escapism for the viewer. He found a way to convey these sensations by revisiting and recreating memories of the tactile, vibrant shapes and colours absorbed during his childhood. Through the years these memories became jumbled into a long-running daydream.

Alex taught himself to enter a lucid, meditative state, and started to extract usable reference points. His admiration for the work of artists such as Victor Vasarely and Bridget Riley strongly influenced by his desire to paint with a high level of precision and technical prowess.

As part of "Unity" our opening group show we have a selection of original artwork by
Ed describes his current work (on and off the street) as consisting of large non figurative paintings evoking the sublime landscapes of the mid gothic period. It stands oddly apart from the ubiquity of post- modern pop iconography.
Fire, brimstone, sunsets and eruptions all rendered in the tones of dawn or sunset.
And so this eventually, is where we end up, a duality of endings and beginnings, apocalypse and salvation

The photographic works of Dutch artist are frankly incredible. He draws inspiration from a myriad of sources, encompassing other artists, nature, film, theater, and music. Come and see his work at our new gallery, opening this Friday

Sebastiaan uses light as an explorative and constructive tool, examining forms, colors, and their spatial relationships. Each shot is unique and creates a vibrant sense of depth.

His artistic practice originates in the studio, where he captures staged compositions of simple shapes, illuminating them with lamps of different colors. Through this process -a skillful use of lenses and filters- Knot questions what he sees: he creates optical phenomena of lights and shadows, chromatic contrasts, and images that look like impalpable architectural structures.

Sebastiaan’s art creates a special viewing experience, showing the same experimental attitude of Optical and Kinetic Art masters.
Knot's geometric abstraction challenges our conventional way of observing reality, shedding light on the elementary mechanisms that underlie our visual perception.

Gallery’s opening Friday 6pm and can’t wait to show French born artist whom is full of optimism and good vibrations which permeate into her intensely colourful paintings and illustrations.

For the last 14 years Marine has been working for some of the world's biggest brands and publications as well as exhibiting her personal work in galleries.

With a striking simplicity and well curated colour palette, her work is both bold and memorable. The unashamedly retro feel and satisfying economy of lines in her pieces make for a strong visual statement.

It’s with great joy we present the Jimi Hendrix of graffiti to the gallery. Unbelievably this will be his first time showing in Manchester!

Hailing from the Bronx, Cope has been painting since 1978, in the 90s armed with spray cans he used his art to counter the rise of populism. Most would agree that without him the graffiti scene of New York wouldn't be the same, and in turn street art wouldn't now have the same importance both in New York and throughout the world.

Fellow Mancunians will recognise street art which has blessed our walls over the years… I'm thrilled to have an original canvas from him for the show and even better yet. It’s massive!

Marcus’s unique style utilises an interrelationship with his graffiti roots and former career as an architectural technologist. He has developed this into a bold and colourful style which is delivered in the form of a visual language.

Aylo is one half of the internationally acclaimed street art duo .clan and she has emerged as a leading multidisciplinary artist with an impressive body of work
