The Gallery is a beautiful, intimate space showcasing original artwork in the heart of Maldon, Essex.

We exhibit paintings, sculptures and ceramics by a select group of artists, and invite you to explore them in our characterful Grade II listed building.

OUR NEXT FEATURED ARTIST WINDOW: ALISON COOK

We’re delighted to introduce our next Featured Artist Window, showcasing the work of Essex-based artist Alison Cook.

Alison’s richly layered paintings explore our connection to the natural world, drawing inspiration from organic forms, growth and transformation. Her work captures the beauty, fragility and ever-changing nature of the world around us.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Alison brings a thoughtful and distinctive approach to her painting.

Introducing Eugenia Alekseyev to The Gallery

An award-winning artist based in North London, Eugenia captures the character and atmosphere of London’s streets and landscapes, particularly Hampstead and Highgate.

Working primarily in oils, she paints directly from observation, using expressive brushwork, rich texture and beautiful colour to capture the changing light and fleeting moments that make each place unique.

Her paintings have been acquired for the collections of Burgh House and Keats House in Hampstead, and we’re thrilled to be showcasing a selection of her work at The Gallery.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

Following the huge success of our Celebrating George exhibition, we’re delighted to welcome photographer Brian Aris back to The Gallery for a special evening.

Join us on Wednesday 21 October, 6 - 8pm for the opportunity to meet Brian personally, chat one-to-one and have your book signed. Brian will also be bringing a selection of new George Michael prints, available to purchase on the evening, as well as a very special limited-edition collector’s book.

There will be complimentary drinks and of course George Michael music playing throughout the evening.

FREE ENTRY – REGISTRATION REQUIRED

A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

We’re very excited to announce that Jill Furmanovsky will be joining us at The Gallery, Maldon, for a special book signing on Saturday 28 November, 5 - 7pm.

Jill has spent over five decades photographing some of the biggest names in music and is particularly renowned for her iconic photographs of Oasis, captured throughout their meteoric rise in the 1990s.

The signing coincides with our Oasis exhibition, featuring a selection of her iconic music photography and limited-edition prints by Jill Furmanovsky.

Meet Jill, have your book signed and explore the exhibition. Limited edition framed and unframed prints will be available to purchase during the show.
