This client came with no experience and left with a pair of handmade heeled sandals in vintage kimono fabric. Workshop spaces available this Summer.

If you’re new here..! It started with a wrong turn on a bike in Japan. 🚲 I got completely lost and stumbled into a secondhand kimono shop filled with the most extraordinary fabrics I’d ever seen. That moment changed everything.

I’m Hetty. I make bespoke handmade shoes from vintage Japanese kimono fabrics and I teach others to do the same from my studio in Maidstone, Kent (an hour from London).
