It's the final week to see ‘Grenfell’ by Steve McQueen at the Bluecoat.

In December 2017, artist and filmmaker Steve McQueen made an artwork in response to the fire that took place earlier that year on 14 June at Grenfell Tower in North Kensington, West London. 72 people died in the tragedy. Filming the tower before it was covered with hoarding, McQueen sought to create a record.

‘Grenfell’ by Steve McQueen is presented to the public at the Bluecoat in co-production with Tate Liverpool from Sat 16 May - Sun 21 Jun.

To mark the 9th anniversary of the Grenfell tragedy, yesterday buildings across the city were lit up green in remembrance and solidarity. 💚

This included our building and Mersey Gateway Bridge, honouring the 72 people who lost their lives and all those affected by the fire at Grenfell Tower.
