The gallery exhibitions change frequently with artist local and from further afield. Art groups and classes are often running.

New artists are encouraged to exhibit in the gallery with the discretion of the curator.

The JB Gallery will be open as usual Thursday 10am-3pm and now showing Fiona Gunn Stokes solo exhibition. This will be accompanied on Saturday by the Launch of the 'Monochrome Experience' at 10am till 12.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come in and browse around, free entry and refreshments will be served in our Heritage tea room.

The Monochrome Experience is to launch 5th September with one of the galleries dedicated just for that event which will be showing for one month.. Browsers welcome to view Fiona Gunn Stokes SOLO exhibition open tomorrow and Saturday 10am-12.30pm closed Bank Holiday Monday open as usual Thursday 10am-3pm.
The Heritage tea room is open throughout the galleries open times selling drinks and snacks.

The JB Gallery Rothwell is open as usual tomorrow 10am till 3pm now displaying the unmissable solo exhibition of Fiona Gunn Stokes. In eye popping colours each picture tells a story and is a meaningful memory for someone. I often here browsers saying :- ive been there, stood exactly in that spot. Come in and take a wander round, its free entry everyday together with the Heritage tea room serving drinks and snacks throughout.

The Launch of Fiona Gunn Stokes solo exhibition was today ,this lady should be proud of all that she has created.
Fiona has brought her signature storytelling and imaginary to the gallery offering a beautiful display of thought provoking pictures.
You can see this unmissable exhibition all through September. The gallery is open today 10am until 12.30 Monday and Thursday 10am-3pm Friday and Saturday 10am-12.30pm. Its free entry and drinks and snacks throughout available from our Heritage tea room .

Here we go with the hanging of Fiona Gunn Stokes solo exhibition. Sally Struszkowski is here helping. We should get this finished and sorted so that we can start the show rolling on Saturday morning 10am. In case you don't know Fiona brings her signature and imagery to the gallery offering thought-provoking imagery.
Known for her deliberate compositions, Fiona captures fleeting moments with a profound depth that invites lingering observation.
You are welcome to come in to the opening 10am till 12.30pm Saturday 15th August, free entry.

Still time to grab yourself a truly amazing original piece of artwork. We have pieces in the galleries that would complement any wall in the house, you name it we have it here in the Janet Bassett Gallery Rothwell. Open till 3 today then tomorrow's the very last day 10 till 12.30pm, after that its all going out to make space for the Double Feature photographic exhibition.
Feature today is Chloe Gee with her seascapes. The middle picture has been sold and has gone off to its forever home., well done Chloe.

Last week of the 'Unlimited Expressions exhibition' and then all change to a double photographic exhibition with the Monochrome Experience and Fiona Gunn Stokes.
The galleries are open today 10am-3pm Thursday 10am-3pm Friday and Saturday 10am-12.30pm. Take advantage of this last week and pop in for a browse around. The Heritage tea room is open throughout selling drinks and snacks.

Last Saturday to grab yourself a really nice original piece of artwork . These 2 by Vivienne Murphy are bright and would shine on any wall of the house. I'm lucky because I see all the pieces in the exhibition daily and will miss them when they all vanish from the walls in a weeks time. We are open 10am-12.30pm tomorrow, come on in and have a browse you won't be disappointed.

This is the last 2 weeks to buy yourselves a piece of artwork that you will treasure forever. On the 1st of August it will all disappear from our 2 galleries and then the hard work will start to install our next exhibition which will run through September.
We have sent invites out for the October's Golden Hour exhibition and the places are filling up fast so anyone who received an invite and hasn't answered it could you please let us know yes or no so others can have a chance of entering.
We open Mondays and Thursdays 10am till 3pm and Fridays and Saturdays 10am till 12.30pm. The Heritage tea room is open throughout selling drinks and snacks.
