Morning everyone — the studio is all set up and ready for the first Create: Home Education Studio session today!

We’re beginning Project 001: Urban Identity, a structured five-week creative project for home-educated young people aged 10–16.

Across the project, we’ll be exploring:

Week 1 — Urban Alphabets
Exploring different lettering shapes and developing a personal alphabet style.

Week 2 — Character Design
Creating an original urban character with its own personality and identity.

Week 3 — Graffiti Lettering
Discovering tags, throw-ups, pieces and wildstyle, then using the alphabet developed during Week 1.

Week 4 — Stencil Design
Designing and creating an original stencil before experimenting with pre-made stencils and paint.

Week 5 — Final Urban Identity Artwork
Combining lettering, characters, stencils, spray paint and paint markers to create a finished canvas board.

The full project begins today, but I now have a limited number of places available for weekly drop-ins. Each session works as part of the wider project but can also be enjoyed as its own standalone creative experience.

Sessions take place on Wednesdays from 9:30–11:00am at The Studio in Gosport.

Individual sessions are £17.50, with all materials included. Spaces are limited, so advance booking is essential.

Creativity Without Limits.

Yes, I know. It’s September. I’m talking about Christmas. I’m sorry.

But in my defence… I’ve been working on something pretty cool.

Introducing the ThirteenEight Creative Advent Calendar.

24 DAYS. 24 SURPRISES. ONE CREATIVE CHRISTMAS.

Forget chocolate — this one’s packed with spray paint, markers, stencils, creative tools, accessories and plenty of surprises, all curated by me for anyone who loves getting creative.

Whether you’re completely new to urban art or you’ve been painting for years, there’s something inside to experiment with, use and hopefully inspire you to create.

Each calendar contains £130+ worth of creative supplies and costs £100.

And I’m only making 20.

I’ll reveal some of what’s inside over the next few weeks, but plenty will stay secret until December.

Pre-orders will go live later this week via the ThirteenEight website.

Ages 16+ | UK only | Delivery or collection available
Ready in November, in plenty of time for 1st December.

Right, that’s enough Christmas chat. We can go back to pretending it’s still summer now.

Experimenting with some new packaging for some new products I’m releasing this Christmas, not only in store but online too. 🤙🤙🤙

Summer is almost over… which means it’s time to get creative again. 🎨

This September, Create: Home Education is changing.

I wanted to create something more than a weekly art activity — a structured creative programme for young people who genuinely enjoy art, want to learn new skills and, most importantly, want the freedom to experiment and develop their own style.

Introducing…

PROJECT 001: URBAN IDENTITY

A 5-week creative programme for home-educated young people aged 10–16.

Across five Wednesday mornings, we’ll explore:

🔤 Creating your own alphabet and lettering style
✏️ Original character design
🔥 Tags, throw-ups, pieces & wildstyle
✂️ Stencil design and stencil art
🎨 Bringing everything together on your own Urban Identity canvas

There’s no finished artwork to copy and no pressure to make something “perfect”.

We’ll learn the rules, experiment with them, break them and see what happens.

📅 Wednesdays, 9:30–11:00am
📍 The Studio
👤 Ages 10–16
🎟️ Maximum 8 places
💷 £75 for all five sessions

Everyone joining the full project will also receive a FREE sketchbook to keep exploring, drawing and developing ideas between sessions.

Learn. Experiment. Break the rules. Create.

Project 001 starts Wednesday 16 September.

Places are now open.
