What a fantastic weekend! 📸✨

​A huge thank you to everyone who came out to visit us; we hope you all thoroughly enjoyed the action-packed re-enactments!

​We'd also like to extend a special thank you to the 1/ 95th Ri**es and the 44th East Essex Regiment of Foote and Friends for bringing history to life so brilliantly and making the event such a success.

​We’re currently sorting through a mountain of photos and videos, so keep an eye on our page, we’ll be sharing them as soon as we’ve had a chance to catch our breath and go through them all!

​Today is the final day to catch the 1/95th Ri**es and the 44th East Essex Regiment of Foot at Landguard Fort! Step back into the Napoleonic era, explore the authentic living history encampments, and witness military heritage in action before they pack up camp.

​🏆 The Battle for the Plunkett Trophy!
Today marks the thrilling climax of the annual r***e competition! Who will take home the prestigious Plunkett Trophy? Come down and cheer on the marksmen as they put their skill and precision to the test.
💥Please note that there will be very loud bangs throughout the day, which may not be suitable for very young children or dogs 💥
