2022 in numbers
The numbers are in. In 2022, with our partners at BALTIC, delivered over 300 gallery talks!
It was really nice to be able to welcome visitors back to the gallery in Stonehaven last weekend. We had a lot of rain on Saturday, but every cloud has a silver lining, as it meant we got to give our lovely new awning its first outing!
A tickled Travelling Gallery
We've been been having a giggle at this old video. Anyone else think it looks like our driver Andy is tickling Travelling Gallery and the LED message board is unable to function for laughing!?
We're still buzzing about our new Fischer Panda UK Ltd generator and enjoying taking it for a little test run. As well as reducing our carbon footprint it is soooo much quieter than our previous genny 😄💚 can't wait to hit the road with it!
Merry Christmas from Travelling Gallery
That’s a wrap on our Spring 2018 tour Are Teenage Dreams So Hard to Beat?
We’ve taken our teenage kicks to The Western Isles, Scottish Borders, Highlands, East Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, West Lothian, Aberdeen, Argyll & Bute, Kinross... we're having a tough time thinking of anywhere we haven't been!
Thank you to all who visited, collaborated and welcomed us with open arms, we've had an amazing time meeting you all. Special thanks to the amazing artists, Arpita Shah, Holly White and Alice Theobald, whose artwork provoked thoughtful, humorous, political and personal responses across the country and the Museum of Childhood, Edinburgh for access to their amazing collection.
Access to art for all!
In case you missed the news last week, the wonderful Glasgow Women's Library has been shortlisted for Museum of the Year 2018! Last year Travelling Gallery partnered with GWL to produce and tour an incredible exhibition by Lauren Printy Currie. Sharing Lauren's artwork and the values of GWL across Scotland was an amazing experience, here we are with the Annan Women's Group.
With May finally here, we are now only two months away from the start of our exhibition at the City Art Centre. We're having a hard time containing our excitement, so here's how we celebrated our last major milestone, the big 3-0, with our 2008 exhibition 'On Edge', featuring Thomas Joshua Cooper, Michael Mersinis, Celine Duval, Matthew Dalziel, Louise Scullion, t s Beall, and Charlotte Watters.

It's been a great year. Thanks to all our visitors, collaborators and supporters. Bring on 2017!
