*signage UPdate*. After a bit of work at the Mill Lane Repair Shop one of our volunteers has done what she can to reconstruct the sign and reposition it. Big thanks to the speed enforcement police officer outside Pulham School who helped Kath put the signage board back up! We need a G&T after all that!
30/11/2022
So why would someone do this? An advert for a local charity’s key fundraiser, destroyed. £40 for a reusable sign, plus the posts, plus volunteer time, for some mean-spirited person to destroy.
So disappointing. Our staff and volunteers are putting so much effort into this weekend’s Beer & Gin Festival so we can raise money to keep the Centre running, for the whole community.
29/11/2022

The Centre will be closed on Saturday 15 October to host a wedding in the beautiful Guild Chapel. We apologise for any inconvenience.
There were scenes of intense concentration at last night's Evening Inn, interspersed by beer drinking, pizza eating and uncontrollable laughter, as the Conker battles ensued. Congratulations to the eventual Conkerer Clayton Hudson who fought valiantly to defeat Graham Cleveland in the final round. Clayton was crowned champ by last year's outgoing Conkerer, Chris Burridge. Thanks to everyone who joined in the battles and went bonkers for conkers 😄

The Pennoyer Centre Collection 2007 - 2012
A collection of photos to illustrate the wide variety of uses of the Pennoyer Centre in Pulham St Mary
The Pennoyer Centre is a converted medieval guild chapel and Victorian school which has been restored to provide a stunning venue for all to enjoy and use. Our different spaces house a cafe, a local history and airship museum, meeting rooms to hire for business, a unique wedding venue and more.
Pennoyer’s licensed cafe is open from 9.30am to 3.30pm from Monday to Saturday, serving breakfasts, light lunches, award-winning homemade cakes, excellent coffee and daily specials.
The Pennoyer Centre is a stylish wedding venue in South Norfolk and is wonderful for private parties, birthdays and celebrations. Our tranquil, elegant Guild Chapel is licensed for civil ceremonies, and it’s a great space to hire for a party or wedding reception.
Business meetings run in our stylish Boardroom or the unique Guild Chapel, and full onsite support including catering is available.
We run a variety of events and community activities ranging from Pilates, art classes, monthly quiz evenings, monthly lunch club and a Film Night (3rd Friday monthly), an annual beer & gin festival and twice-yearly craft fairs. We also stage heritage events, celebrating local history, including the airships that were based at RNAS Pulham in WWI.
The Centre is accessible throughout and everyone will be warmly welcomed by our staff and volunteers.
The £1.6m restoration programme, to create this amazing building, was run by the local community, supported by many grant giving organisations, including the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Centre opened in August 2010, and is a registered charity.
