Hannah Fleming delivered an interesting and enjoyable talk, “A round of Hickory Golf” on Monday evening.

Working for almost twenty years in golf heritage, Learning & Access Curator of the R&A World Golf Museum, Hannah only played her first round of hickory golf last year at Kingarrock Golf Course at Hill of Tarvit. The talk gave us an insight into the family who built that course and how it fits into the story of Scottish golf. By examining clubs and balls, archives, costume, trophies, and photography we discovered the stories of pioneering and legendary figures in both the men and women’s game and discussed the elements of devotees for 60O years.
