The Colchester Pride March is back and bigger than ever!

To join in, gather with us outside Mercury Theatre Colchester by 10.30am on 15th August!

At 10.40am, the march will set off, led by our Community Champions, the local drag scene and our community organisations.

The route will be Church Street - Head Street - High Street - Lewis Gardens and then on into Firstsite

We welcome all community members and allies to march with or support us!

Please note: Participation in the march is open to all but anyone wishing to enter the Colchester Pride event at Firstsite will require a ticket.

Additionally, the route is wheelchair accessible but does have some cobbled paving at the beginning. Please bear this in mind.

This summer's "star" attraction! ⭐ High Woods Country Park's newest activity trail celebrates the Taylor Sisters and their iconic poetry.

The Twinkle Star Trail is now open, bringing together our beautiful country park and the story of Jane and Ann Taylor who famously wrote 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' in Colchester.

Follow the family-friendly route to discover five trail markers inspired by the sisters' nature-themed poems. Pick up an activity booklet packed with puzzles, colouring, games and poetry for younger explorers. 🔍🎨

You can also scan QR codes to hear the poems performed by local young people from Mercury Young Company. 🎧

A lovely way to enjoy the outdoors and discover a little local history. 🌳📖
