ONCE UPON A WINTER — OPEN CALL
PACh is inviting artists to submit work for Once Upon a Winter, a winter exhibition at Storyhouse this December, running alongside this year's Christmas production of Rapunzel.
We are looking for work inspired by winter and the world of stories — from beautiful snowy landscapes, frost, winter light and seasonal scenes to forests, folklore, old tales, night, mystery, characters and creatures, transformation and the slightly magical.
The theme can be interpreted creatively, but the work should have a connection to winter, storytelling or the atmosphere of the season.
Artists may submit up to 5 works for consideration. All work must be 2D, A3 or larger, suitable for wall display and ready to hang. Work must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
Please email [email protected] with images of the work, together with the title, medium, dimensions and price of each piece.
Deadline for submissions: Sunday 25 October 2026.
Provisional exhibition dates:
Drop-off: Sunday 6 & Monday 7 December
Installation: Wednesday 9 December
Exhibition: 9 December 2026 – 13 January 2027
Collection: 13–15 January 2027
Dates will be confirmed nearer the time.
The open call is open to both existing PACh artists and artists who haven't exhibited with us before.
