“I experience a satisfaction and greater understanding from not thinking, but feeling.”✨

This is the philosophy that drives abstract artist Adèle Love. Her work is about the joy of painting. Not wanting to explain or rationalise a deeply personal subconscious process, Adèle allows her work to speak for itself, inviting the viewer to engage with each piece in a way that has meaning for them.

Her works are pure spontaneity. With no fixed idea or blueprint, Adèle allows each piece to surprise her along the way...

This stunning bronze sculpture by Patrick Walls started as a deeply personal project...

Born from a conversation with his mother, Dorothy, and co-created with his brother, Mick, the original angel, carved from Ancaster Weatherbed limestone, was created for the grounds of Wakefield Hospice—standing as a heartfelt thank you for the outstanding care Dorothy received there in 2017.

Now available as a beautiful limited-edition bronze casting, this angel stands on a sandstone plinth as a powerful symbol of optimism, hope, and love 💙

'Mobius T Clef III' by Bill Prickett
Hand-carved Birch Plywood

Sculptor Bill Prickett fuses the treble clef and the Mobius strip in his stunning series, 'Mobius T Clef', where music meets math. The fluid curves of this hand-carved piece connect two distinct childhood memories. Bill fondly recalls drawing treble clefs during school music lessons, alongside a magical moment when his grandfather demonstrated how a twisted paper Mobius strip does not break apart when cut lengthways. Because Mobius strips are also known as "infinity loops", Bill created this piece to represent the infinite variety achievable in music from a finite number of notes.

Bill Prickett is a Kent-based sculptor widely regarded as one of the UK's most talented carvers. While wildlife remains his principal passion, he is frequently drawn to the more flowing, abstract forms found in nature. Whether he is capturing the spirit of a living creature or exploring the infinite loops of mathematical forms, Bill shapes timber and plywood to turn natural inspirations into striking contemporary art.

Beautiful from every angle, you can view Bill's 'Mobius T Clef III' at our newly consolidated gallery at 76 Castle St, Canterbury, or browse online at: www.lilfordframing.com/bill-prickett-canterbury
