Well the month of October can mean a number of things. Halloween will soon be upon us, possibly a friend or relation's birthday, Christmas is but a few weeks away.....the list goes on and on.
But for us here at the Toy Museum it marks the beginning of the last month of our season....Our last day of opening for 2026 is Saturday 31st October.
So if you're planning to visit the museum, or hoping to come to the shop for some Christmas shopping or just wanted to sell us something, the countdown has begun.😀

All set up for this weekends event at MacKinnon Mills. A small 🤣 selection of some of our favourite lines from the shop.... Scalextric, Pegasus, Mini GT, Greenlight, AiP, Toyway, Bachmann Thomas, small metal signs, cast metal signs, Corgi character die-cast and of course Round 2 kits. It's also your first chance to purchase one of our exclusive small metal Callander Station signs for £7.50 (photo in comments).

Flushed with success from our outing last weekend, we're out on the road again this Saturday and Sunday attending the excellent Model and hobby show at Mackinnon Mills.
This time we'll be showcasing a selection of new plastic model kits, film and TV, retro hot rods, collectable diecast and Scalextric.
Might even manage to squeeze in our little Thomas the tank engine model railway layout....if I can find the transformer. 🙄🤣

For a fantastically well organised weekend at their anniversary exhibition.
A very successful day for us, and we had a great laugh with all the team involved.
