The Hamilton Toy Collection Est in 1994. The museum showcases 175 years of combined toy collecting by the Hamiltons. The museum and collectors shops are open from April until October

Five plus rooms,showcasing,almost every type of toy imaginable. Each family member having his or her own specialist field. OPEN 1st APRIL - 31st OCTOBER. MONDAY TO SATURDAY 10.30-5PM. SUNDAY CLOSED. MUSEUM ADMISSION CHARGES
ADULTS £4.00
CHILDREN (ACCOMPANIED) £2.00
FAMILY TICKET (TWO ADULTS AND TWO CHILDREN) £10.00.

I recently submitted a parliamentary motion celebrating a fantastic milestone for a much-loved local treasure — the The Hamilton Toy Collection in , which marks its 30th anniversary this year.

This family-run museum has brought joy to visitors of all ages for decades, showcasing one of the largest privately owned toy collections in the UK. Founded on the passion and vision of the late Philip Hamilton, it continues to be lovingly run by his family, who have kept his dream alive.

From dolls and bears to classic cars, trains and sci-fi figures, the collection is a wonderful celebration of childhood memories and Scottish heritage and a real asset to local tourism and the community.

I’m delighted to recognise everything the Hamilton family has achieved over the past 30 years 👏
