This vintage advert showcases Langfield House — once a well-known guest house in Bude, surrounded by wooded grounds and just a short walk from the beach and town centre.
Visitors could enjoy tennis, croquet and even candlelit dinners during their stay.

But while the name may still sound familiar, the building itself no longer exists.
