One of the most unsettling images in modern art — now available as a limited edition.

Francis Bacon’s Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion was originally painted in 1944, marking a defining moment in the artist’s career and a turning point in British post-war art.

In 2025, HENI Editions worked with the Estate of Francis Bacon to produce a limited edition of 100, retaining the scale and immersive presence of the original triptych.

Remembering Yayoi Kusama through the works that made her unmistakable.

Yayoi Kusama died in Tokyo on 14 August 2026, aged 97, leaving behind an extraordinary body of work spanning more than seven decades.
We know the images: the Pumpkin, the polka dot, the Infinity Net, the mirrored room.

But behind these instantly recognisable forms was a much deeper artistic language—one concerned with repetition, infinity, identity and perception.

Kusama could take the simplest of things and make them feel infinite.
A dot became a universe.
A pumpkin became an icon.
A room became an experience of infinity.

Her work continues to resonate because it asks questions that never really have an ending.

Remembering Yayoi Kusama.

Yayoi Kusama died in Tokyo on 14 August 2026, aged 97, leaving behind an extraordinary artistic legacy spanning more than seven decades.
From her early years in Japan to the avant-garde art scene of 1960s New York and her emergence as one of the world’s most recognisable contemporary artists, Kusama remained committed to exploring the boundaries between the self and the world around us.

Her art was deeply personal, but its language became universal: repetition, infinity, reflection, pattern and immersion became ways of thinking about identity, perception and existence.

Perhaps what is most remarkable is her persistence. Kusama continued to create until her final days, maintaining an artistic practice that never stopped evolving.
