Paintings by artist Susie Comwall are currently gracing our window. These gorgeous still lifes are painted in the traditional alla prima style and hold a beautiful, timeless quality.

We’re in love with the gorgeous, gooey yumminess of Zoe Taylor’s paintings. Working with unwanted paintings discovered in charity shops, Zoe lovingly upcycles each piece into an entirely new artwork — frame and all.

Her joyful use of colour, rich texture, and tactile layered surfaces has caused quite a stir in the shop, with customers drawn to their energy and feel-good charm.

🤩 So many amazing new pieces have arrived in the gallery these last couple of weeks from some our lovely artists and more still to come!

I’ll be doing a rehang next week when the work will be displayed as it should be rather than scattered (safely) around the gallery 😂

We love that there’s such a wealth of talent and creativity in such a small radius from the gallery and it’s an honour to showcase and promote it. We have art that covers several different genres. Nature and Bristol do feature more heavily. Come and take a look. We think we’ve got something for all tastes, homes and budgets.

It was such a joy to support and sponsor a prize for this year’s Friends’ Exhibition . The Friends have been part of my world for a long time, and before Room 212, I also led the marketing team at the RWA - so it always feels a bit like coming home.

I was really pleased to have three of my own pieces selected—two landscapes and one inky floral.

I got completely carried away chatting to Friends, artists and old colleagues (as you do!) and forgot to take many photos 🙈 but here are a few from the PV night. It was great to see several works by Room 212 artists selected too. I’ve shared their posts on the stories. It’s a great exhibition with sales supporting the RWA so I’d encourage people to go see it - lots of interesting art on display. I couldn’t resist a purchase myself (last pic) ❤️
